Thanks to its exceptional thinness and reduced footprint, the oem MRZ scanner IDx allows manufacturers to develop an extensive array of products for all types of applications, needing to read the Machine-Readable Zone from ID documents.
The oem MRZ scanner IDx allows to read any ID document Machine-Readable Zone with only a single action from the user. This new Elyctis scanner can be associated with the Elyctis Multislot contactless reader, in order to read the content of both MRZ and RFID chip without additional movement from the user. Thus, no user education is needed while deploying on a large scale.
As Elyctis oem MRZ scanner IDx is extremely thin (12.5 mm thickness only), it is ideal for integration in any product. Integration into environments where energy saving counts is made easy thanks to the MRZ scanner low consumption combined with very short reading time and efficient detection mode. Connected to a simple coin battery, the oem MRZ scanner IDx can be used as a stand-alone device, and as it saves data like time and date, it is perfectly suited to age verification applications.

Elyctis also proposes a developer’s kit, including a MRZ scanner ID1, MRZ scanner ID3, an interface board for USB or serial connection, a software development kit and connection cables.
