Making spicy paint is perfect for kids to explore the kitchen supplies. Simply go on a color and scent hunt together with the kids in the kitchen.
Please note that ingredients to make spicy paint is not limited to the following items. Gather powdered coffee, turmeric, cinnamon, frozen cranberries, blueberries, and powdered wheat grass onto the kitchen table.
For the dry ingredients measure and mix about 1 teaspoon of hot water to one teaspoon of dry spice. Then they let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes before painting. For the wet ingredients, such as the berries, simply mash them until wet and pulpy.
Let the kids have a blast coloring with these amazing homemade paints. Remember that these are the good old times during childhood.
Making sugar scrub makes a great excuse to get into the kitchen with the kids. Sugar scrub is really simple to make with kids and a lovely way to pamper a loved one.
Materials needed to make a sugar scrub present are a jar with a top, sugar, oil such as olive oil, almond oil, or another sort of non smelly oil, essential oils such a lavender or vanilla oil, and cute food coloring.
Measure all ingredients according to the recipe and mix them up in a bowl. Only add a few drops of food coloring to ensure that the scrub is only tinted a bit and does not rub off on the skin.
Pack the sugar mix tightly into a jar, decorate it with a ribbon, and add a label. The cute kid made present is ready for anyone who needs a pick me up.
