Over the past 38 years, NES Health has addressed and resolved performance issues in hundreds of emergency departments across the nation, from quality of medical care to patient satisfaction. Its findings have been translated into an innovative suite of tools, systems, and programs that enable hospital leaders to correct deficiencies and enhance the patient experience in emergency departments.
NES Health, a leading national provider of outsourced emergency physician staffing and management solutions for hospitals, announced the expansion of its emergency medicine staffing and management services with new contracts at hospitals in West Virginia, Georgia and Louisiana. Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV; Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, GA; and Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, LA, have chosen NES Health as its business partner for emergency physician staffing and management services.
“The partnership between each of these hospitals and NES Health will help them to improve their emergency departments, reaching higher levels of quality, safety and patient care,” said Thomas Zguris, M.D., MBA, FACEP, President and CEO of NES Health.
Grant Memorial Hospital, located in Petersburg, serves Grant, Hardy and Pendleton Counties nestled in the Potomac Heartlands of West Virginia. It is a critical access hospital with a busy emergency department seeing over 12,000 patients annually.
Liberty Regional Medical Center, located in Hinesville, Georgia is a general medical and surgical hospital located in the beautiful coastal area just south of Savannah. It has almost 300 inpatient beds, is a Level 3 trauma center, and sees about 23,000 patients annually in its emergency department.
Dauterive Hospital, located in New Iberia, Louisiana, not far west of New Orleans, is a member of the Progressive Acute Care LLC (PAC) hospital and healthcare system. PAC specializes in operating rural hospitals in communities across Louisiana. The hospital has over 100 inpatient beds and a busy emergency department seeing over 22,000 patients annually.
Just as no two emergency departments are the same, no two solutions are, either. NES Health works closely with hospital leaders to customize a physician staffing and management solution that’s aligned with their emergency department’s specific needs. Clients have access to a host of support services – such as innovative quality, patient safety, marketing, and patient satisfaction programs. Sophisticated reporting technologies at NES Health allow hospital leaders to continuously monitor and improve service delivery in emergency departments.
NES Health’s unique structural organization allows hospitals to enjoy the strength and stability of a national organization – along with personalized service that’s often only found in much smaller operations. It’s the best of both worlds. Taking great care of patients is the foundation for each one of NES Health’s solutions, from selective physician recruitment and staffing to special services for critical access hospitals.
