London School of Marketing reveals the top three reasons why students study for an MBA in London
London, England (PRWEB UK) 23 July 2014 -- London School of Marketing, a leading institution offering accredited marketing and business qualifications in the heart of London, has revealed the top three reasons why students study for an MBA in London.
“There are many reasons to study for an MBA. These include personal fulfillment, career growth and life experience. London, besides its prestigious schools and qualifications, has so much more to offer to make an MBA education worth the investment,” stated a recent London School of Marketing blog post. “To find out what our students were looking for from their study experience, we asked them why they chose to study an MBA in London. Many answers we predicted – some we didn’t.”
Beyond the more obvious answers related to career growth and progression, London School of Marketing has compiled the top three reasons why students pursue their MBA in London. The first relates to building a network both within and outside of the classroom. More than just a valued MBA designation, students also gain valuable contacts for life by networking with fellow students.
“The second reason related to the opportunity to travel and build life experiences. For many of our students, choosing where to study is just as important as what to study,” stated Anton Dominique, COO/CFO of London School of Marketing. “For many of our students, studying in London provides them with a unique opportunity to see other parts of the world, while discovering the diverse local culture that London offers.”
Finding a life partner rounded out the list of the top three reasons to study for an MBA in London. According to Dominique, the LSM team was surprised to discover how many of their students met their life partners while studying in London. These findings were supported by a recent Financial Times article which revealed that, in a survey of 20,000 distance education MBA students, “the returns [of studying for an MBA] are beyond a job and in India the marriage market tends to be one of them.”
