Cloud Distribution Signs Up Cloud4Wi and Enables Next-Gen WiFi Services

Enables partners to extend their wireless proposition with fully-managed ‘customer branded’ Splash Management Platform.

Security and networking next-generation value added distributor (VAD) Cloud Distribution, has added Cloud4Wi to its portfolio of technology solutions that leverage the power of the Cloud. Cloud4Wi is an innovative cloud platform to manage and monetise Wi-Fi services, that is ideal for brands, retailers, hotels and venues. This exclusive distribution agreement will enable Cloud4Wi to extend its global reach to the UK and Ireland.

For end-users, free Wi-Fi is expected and organisations are seeking ways to monetise the Wi-Fi service they are providing. In addition they are increasingly looking for ways to use the wireless network as a channel to promote their brand, share information and market additional services to their customers (similar to the way in which they are already using more ‘traditional’ channels such as email or a corporate website to communicate to users).
