ONE World Sports Exclusive Carrier Of June 14 Cosmos-Red Bulls Soccer Match
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- ONE World Sports will exclusively telecast the historic Saturday, June 14th showdown between the New York City area’s two professional soccer teams – the Red Bulls of Major League Soccer (MLS) and the Cosmos of the North American Soccer League (NASL).
ONE World Sports’ telecast of the first intercity professional soccer rivalry kicks off at 8:30 p.m, live from Hofstra University’s Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y. The network’s on-air talent for the telecast features three of the foremost soccer commentators: Steve Cangialosi, primary television play-by-play announcer for the New Jersey Devils on MSG Plus and the Red Bulls on the MSG Network and 98.7 ESPN New York, will call play-by-play; and Janusz Michallik, a veteran of the U.S. National Team and 10 U.S. indoor and outdoor soccer teams, and legendary former Cosmos goalkeeper Shep Messing will provide analysis.
ONE World Sports is the television home of the Cosmos, who “rebooted” last year after a three-decade hiatus, going on to win the NASL and to become the only New York City professional sports team to achieve a 2013 championship.
