The public and media are invited to a special groundbreaking ceremony June 11 at 2pm on the Lakeview Health campus to mark the start of a multi-building construction which includes a 145 seat conference center available to the community. Lakeview Health has been working to greatly expand Jacksonville’s ability to treat addiction patients as well as disseminate critical information to the professionals nationwide who refer their clients for treatment. Speaking at the ceremony will be Councilman and Jacksonville Mayoral Candidate Bill Bishop, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Melissa Lee Warner, and CEO Roy Serpa.
“We are all in this together,“ stated Roy Serpa. “We really wanted to make this an event not only for Lakeview Health, but for the entire Jacksonville community.”
Phase 2 will include a 5,000 square foot conference center, 7,000 square foot administrative building, 7,000 square foot fitness center, and 25 meter pool. Construction is expected to be completed in 2015. A reception will follow the ceremony and tours of the campus, including completed Phase 1 construction.
