AspireHR was chosen as the client’s migration partner due to its expertise with HR solutions from SAP and its consultants’ expertise with SAP Payroll Processing. Before the decision process began, the AspireHR team offered a solution to the client’s unique labor distribution requirements. Another major decision point was AspireHR’s proprietary HR DataExchange software solution, which is capable of converting large amounts of complex data structures that can be configured and executed entirely by the customer.
The client had been operating from two disparate systems that did not integrate smoothly or easily together. Due to the very complicated payroll requirements of having employees in every state and school tax authority in the United States, it was important for the client to enlist assistance on the deployment from consultants with experience in effectively and accurately implementing SAP Payroll Processing.
The completed effort of moving the payroll function to the SAP solution allowed the client to achieve integration with the SAP ERP Financials application for its complex billing needs. Additionally, the client now has the ability to complete retro-calculations and has empowered its HR professionals to securely and easily maintain sensitive data, as it no longer needs to swap between different platforms.
Payroll LaunchSuite was used to support payroll parallel testing. This software improved accuracy in parallel testing, as well as reduced the effort and cost to perform parallel testing. HR DataExchange was used to automatically convert large amounts of complicated payroll data, thereby saving the team significant hours of work and resource hours.
