This was part of the agency’s initiative to promote caring for and participating in various Texas communities throughout the state. Watkins Insurance Group has a special committee called Watkins Aware designed to support numerous causes within the area. This year’s IIAT’s Conference and Trade Show featured the annual community service project hosted by the Young Agents of Texas. Agents volunteered to work a day at St. Peter-St. Joseph’s Children’s Home in San Antonio and participated in activities such as painting, organizing clothes closets, and landscaping. The event took place on Wednesday, June 4 and provided an excellent opportunity for Watkins Insurance Group to take an active role in this annual tradition of the conference.
