The DSA is the perfect partner for the DSMA. They have a tremendous membership base across a variety of technologies and disciplines that are important to our region.

The Digital Screenmedia Association (DSA) and the Digital Signage Multimedia Alliance (DSMA) based in Taiwan, have announced a partnership with the goal of bringing education, networking, and advocacy to global interests.

In an official ceremony in Taipei, Taiwan during the Digital Signage Forum that took place in conjunction with Computex, the DSA and DSMA signed an agreement to work together in a variety of formats, including events and online materials to bring both organizations closer together and bring best practices and executions in digital signage and interactive experiences closer to global users, vendors, and clients.

The signing was witnessed by the Industrial Development Bureau under the ROC Ministry of Economic Affairs.

After the ceremony, Paul Flanigan, Executive Director of the DSA, gave a presentation during the Forum on digital signage and the connected consumer.

“This is a terrific opportunity for both the DSA and DSMA,” said Bill Lynch, President of the DSA. “The DSMA is the leader in understanding digital signage and interactive technologies based in the Pan-Asian region. We will see them bringing a lot of new opportunities to our membership as these amazing experiences continue to grow.”

“The DSA is the perfect partner for the DSMA,” said John Wang, DSMA’s Section Chair for Standards and International Affairs, and CEO of IAdea. “They have a tremendous membership base across a variety of technologies and disciplines that are important to our region, and we will be working closely to bring those members and their expertise to our region.”

The partnership begins immediately, and will result in cross promotion and partnership of webinars and events starting later in 2014.

The DSA is an independent, non-profit association, whose mission is to advance the growth and excellence of the global digital signage, interactive kiosk, and mobile community through advocacy, education and networking. Members include users of digital screenmedia in all vertical markets including retail, hospitality, food service, and healthcare, as well as manufacturers, resellers, and distributors of hardware and software, network operators, integrators, advertising agencies, consultants, analysts, publishers, trade show organizers, and service companies.

The DSMA is the largest industry organization in the Asian-Pacific region addressing needs related to digital signage, interactive technologies, content strategy, and multimedia integration. Its members bring into the platform exceptional in-depth knowledge in areas including display technology, industrial computing, digital content, systems integration, and advertising.
