Jennifer Marble began working as an intern with Mercator Advisory Group in early 2013 and proved her ability to quickly grasp payments industry concepts and models while displaying strong analytical skills. She has supported numerous research efforts across multiple services and authored or coauthored a number of research pieces on topics including patterns in debit rewards and instant issuance, innovations within prepaid with a focus on the entrance of wireless phone service providers into prepaid general purpose reloadable (GPR) programs, and the future of customer service within different categories of mobile applications. Prior to her position with Mercator Advisory Group, Jennifer worked at a large natural gas distributor in Germany, Verbundnetz Gas AG. There, she tested technical indicators in the spot and futures markets as part of research designing trading strategies for hedging risk. She worked previously as a capital markets intern at the Regional Bank in Berlin and as a development intern at Mackinac Center for Public Policy, an economic policy think tank.
