Edifecs, Inc., a global health information technology solutions company, will host a workshop at America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Institute 2014. Experts from leading payer organizations will discuss their real-world innovations around payer, provider and member collaboration, connectivity and engagement. Session panelists will also address how health plans are evolving to meet changing marketplace demands, including how to make information more transparent, inspire better member engagement, improve partner collaboration, and reach new populations. Panelists will discuss how technology is driving innovation and sustaining changes across the healthcare ecosystem.

Featured keynote speaker, Denny Brennan, executive director and CEO of Massachusetts Health Data Consortium, will discuss how payers and providers in the State of Massachusetts are handling ICD-10 collaborative testing and ACO partner data sharing to improve population health. Additional panelists from commercial and Blue Cross Blue Shield payers will discuss how they are using technology to drive sustained transformation in their organizations including enhanced member engagement and payer-provider collaboration.

Sunny Singh, Edifecs president and CEO, will kick off the workshop by welcoming AHIP attendees to Seattle. Sam Muppalla, executive vice president of products and strategy for Edifecs, will close the session with an overview of Edifecs technology and how it is powering healthcare partnerships to reduce costs, increase financial sustainability and enhance customer experience.

The workshop is the only session at the AHIP Institute designated to offer attendees education credits.
