Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) June 10, 2014 -- Dads hoping for a really great Father’s Day gift this year may want to pull up stakes and head to Montana.
That’s the state that spent the most on presents for Pops in the month prior to the June holiday in 2013, according to data from ShopAtHome.com, the largest coupon search engine that connects upwards of 12 million consumers each month to exclusive deals and Cash Back savings.

ShopAtHome.com found folks in Montana, followed by Maryland, Florida, Virginia and Nebraska, respectively, spent the most on dear old Dad last year, while those in Alaska, Delaware, Maine, New Mexico and South Dakota spent the least.
And, frugal fathers are probably extra proud of their kids in Montana, (and Idaho, Connecticut, New Jersey and Florida, too) for saving while they shop by earning more Cash Back than any other state.
"When you’re shopping for Dad, it’s smart to personalize your gift," says Lesley Kennedy, senior managing editor at ShopAtHome.com. "A new golf shirt, reservations at his favorite steak house, tickets to a ball game or a great summer book are all things he’ll appreciate. And, if you can get those things using online coupons and scoring Cash Back rewards? Even better.”
If you think you’re too late to shop online for Father’s Day, look for retailers who allow you to buy online and pick up in stores, Kennedy advises.
“Often, you can snag an unbeatable online-only deal, but, for last-minute shoppers who don’t want to pay express shipping fees, some stores will let you pick up the items at their brick-and-mortar locations,” she adds. “That’s win-win for everyone.”
Stores included in the data analysis include Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, Sports Authority, Lowes and Sears.
