CareerCycles.com Releases Podcast on Careers in Faith and Having Faith in Your Career
(PRWEB) June 12, 2014 -- As part of their Career Buzz series, CareerCycles’ newest podcast discusses how to take a leap of faith in one’s career. Guests Greg Redford, Padre Francesca Scorsone and Padre Stephen Morris shifted careers dramatically, based on life-changing experiences that brought them back to their religion, revamped their careers and ultimately changed their career path.
Greg left his investment banking job to complete a graduate degree in theological studies. He discusses his excitement for the opportunity and the support he received when making this profound transition. Padre Francesca was recruited to be a military chaplain when working as a chaplain at a high school. Padre Stephen was working as a production assistant on a documentary that was shooting at Sick Kids hospital. That experience lead back to church and from there, he got his Masters in Divinity and also started work as a military chaplain.
While all three guests found their calling via religion, they also highlight believing in ones’ skills enough to take on new opportunities that open new paths in life, and to have the faith and focus on that path ahead. The guests use their personal stories to emphasize to listeners to use their individual gifts, skills and talents to meet needs in the world and to establish a career that is personally and emotionally fulfilling.
