Abila Names Industry Veteran, Tad Druart, Vice President of Marketing

Druart brings more than 25 years of proven leadership experience in developing, executing and sustaining marketing and communications strategies and tactics that shape perception, enhance reputation, build brand and increase valuation for high-profile technology companies and nonprofit and governmental entities. His professional experience includes leadership roles in nonprofit organizations and associations, as well as leading marketing communications programs for a software provider that served some of the world’s leading nonprofit organizations.

Prior to joining Abila, Druart served as director of marketing and communications for CompassLearning, Inc. Before CompassLearning, Druart managed corporate communications, corporate marketing, and investor relations for Convio, a leading provider of online fundraising and constituent management (CRM) software to the nonprofit market. COnvio was subsequently acquired by Blackbaud. Additionally, Druart served as vice president and general manager for Pierpont Communications, and held communications and marketing roles at Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), Dell and National Instruments. Druart began his career with Special Olympics, Texas, and also served in a fundraising leadership role with the Texas State University athletic department. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Newman University, and as president of the University’s alumni association.
