Tonner Doll Company Partners with Warner Bros. for New Collection: The Big Bang Theory
Kingston, NY (PRWEB) June 24, 2014 -- Collectible mainstay Tonner Doll Company, Inc., in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP), announces their newest licensed project, The Big Bang Theory (Thursdays 8/7c CBS), with the debut of two character figures: Caltech power couple Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler. More characters will follow, as Tonner looks to expand the line to include Penny, Leonard and the rest of the gang.
“I am really excited about this collection,” said Robert Tonner, company CEO and resident doll artist. “I love the show, and I think we really nailed the likenesses – they are …out of this world! It was really fun to capture the spirit of some of my favorite characters.”Tonner Doll has an extensive past with other WBCP licensed collections, with the likes of DC Comics, (Sheldon would be impressed!), Harry Potter, Gone with the Wind and more.
Tonner’s Sheldon Cooper stands 17” tall and comes dressed in his standard uniform: The Flash T-shirt, plaid trousers and sneakers. The 16” Amy Farrah Fowler arrives wearing a blouse, sweater, skirt, tights, shoes, and of course, her signature spectacles.
The Big Bang Theory Tonner figures include all of the hallmarks one has come to expect from the beloved company, such as strict attention to detail, incredible articulation, authentic costuming, hand-painted features and exemplary quality.
