New Bid Management Tool for Google AdWords Shopping Ads
(PRWEB) June 11, 2014 -- Shopping ads are replacing Google’s Product Listing Ads in August 2014 and many ecommerce advertisers have started switching to this new ad format. One issue many of them have run into is how difficult it is to efficiently manage bids for Shopping ads, especially when working with product catalogs that are larger than 100 items.
Optmyzr, a company that builds tools and reports to make AdWords management more efficient, is addressing these bid management challenges and has introduced the Shopping Bidder tool, a One-Click Optimization™ that gives advertisers a quick and easy way to set bids to help them achieve their targets.
Here’s how the Shopping Bidder tool works:
- Advertisers get all the biddable items for their entire account on a single page.
- They can filter the view to see just ROI positive, ROI negative, or items with no impressions or apply a custom filter using their own criteria like clicks, cost, impressions, etc.
- They can change bids in bulk for all the items that meet the filter criteria, for example, lowering all bids 10% for ROI negative items with at least 10 clicks in the past 30 days.
- With one click, they can send the new bids to AdWords where they go live instantly.
With the introduction of this first-of-its-kind bid management system for Google Shopping ads, Optmyzr hopes to equip advertisers with the right tools to help them be more effective online marketers.
Frederick Vallaeys, CEO of Optmyzr says, “At the HeroConf PPC conference in Austin I talked to a lot of advertisers to see if anyone had a solution to make managing bids for Shopping ads less manual and nobody had a good answer so we decided to build the solution ourselves. We decided to fast-track this tool to help account managers who are wasting too many hours of their lives doing this manually, one product group bid at a time.”
