Ski Vermont: Check In to Win

Montpelier, VT (PRWEB) June 11, 2014

The Ski Vermont Check In to Win program formed a new partnership with Verizon Wireless for its second season to bring a more robust program to skiers and riders in Vermont. On a new platform via an application called AlpineReplay, the program recorded 12,110 logged check-ins by 8,850 unique users, compared to 660 participants last season, resulting in a 1,240% increase in users. Ski Vermont also introduced a Vertical Challenge competition where users racked up 275 million vertical feet on Vermont terrain and winners of the challenge skied or snowboarded over a million vertical feet each.

Check In to Win participants had many opportunities to win big this season. Ski Vermont had twenty unique medals on Alpine Replay. The medals included the Vermont Weekend Warrior, which was earned by visiting 2 or more resorts in a single weekend and other fun combinations. As the season progressed, over 7,900 skiers and riders earned medals which entered them to win prizes from Ski Vermont marketing partners and additional lift tickets. Nearly one hundred prizes were distributed from the Ski Vermont office including hats and beanies from Burton and Rossignol, socks from Darn Tough, Cabot Cheese, t-shirts from Long Trail and Vermont Spirits, and swag from Verizon Wireless, Keurig Green Mountain and Ski Vermont.
