Compact and easily transportable, the system delivers high accuracy measurements of both O2, CO2, heart rate and lung volume. Fitness trainers can run unlimited tests and compare client results with normative data.
The system’s integral LabScribe metabolic software automates and streamlines both the analysis and reporting of metabolic parameters from a test subject. The easy-to-use software generates customizable reports. Calculations are derived from the input data acquired during a test which would typically include oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations, lung volumes, and heart rates. Data can be viewed in real time. Parameters that can be calculated include VO2max, RER, AT, VE, METS and more.
An intuitive user interface enables trainers to setup and customize training zones for subjects based on % of maximum heart rate or within a specific heart rate range. It is also possible to setup and save a subject profile while performing a fitness test. During subsequent tests, the same subject profile can be loaded and data can be easily compared. This feature provides a convenient and simple way to track progress over time.
iWorx Fitness Assessment System is comprised of lightweight and compact components that facilitate easy setup. The system includes a CO2 and O2 Gas Analyzer and Calibration Kit, Control Module, Reusable 1000L Spirometry Flow Head, Polar® Heart Rate Monitor, Mask, Head Gear Assembly and Non-Rebreathing valve, Mixing Chamber and LabScribe Software with Metabolic Module.
