Announcement: GuitarControl.com Releases “Cool Guitar Lesson on Vibrato - How to Get Great Vibrato Technique”
(PRWEB) June 11, 2014 -- Vibrato is a musical technique that consists of a pulsating change of pitch used to add expression to a musical note. Vibrato is characterized by speed and pitch variance of the note being played.
“Vibrato is basically shaking the notes,” says Johnson, “one of the most useful things if you’re wanting to learn lead guitar just having a good vibrato is so powerful.” Claude starts off this easy beginner guitar lesson by playing a couple of examples of vibrato using the minor pentatonic scale. Johnson says that the technique comes from the wrist and that you should listen to a lot of guitarists like; B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Angus Young and other guitarists with great vibrato. Claude compares the technique to shaking a soda can or doing the hand gesture for “hang loose”. Next Johnson demonstrates a lick that you can do to practice vibrato as follows; 7th fret of the 3rd string with first finger and do a slide up to the 9th fret and shake the note. “Vibrato is easier when you are sliding,” says Johnson. Claude continues the demonstration by sliding further and further up the fret board shaking the notes that he stops on along the way. Johnson says that you can learn more by checking out his courses “Killer Guitar Control Secrets” and “Supercharged Soloing Made Simple”, both available at GuitarControl.com. Guitar TAB’s are available for this easy beginner lead guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
