John McDonald, CEO of CloudOne (http://www.oncloudone.com), has been elected to the 2014-2015 Global Rational User Community (GRUC) Council Board. The Global Rational User Community is the largest online and offline organization of IBM Rational software professionals in the world. The announcement was made during Innovate 2014 (June 1-5), IBM’s premier event for software innovation in Orlando, Florida.
McDonald’s background serving as CEO of CloudOne, an IBM Premier Business Partner delivering IBM Rational development tools in the cloud, coupled with his hands-on experience as an executive for 20 years in the IBM Software Group and an original IBM Champion for Rational in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 will be invaluable to promoting the effective use of Rational software solutions through an active, collaborative community of customers, partners, and IT professionals.
