The strong adoption of our patented liquid cooling technology for desktop and enterprise computing markets has driven our business to a record revenue of $19.4 million in 2013.

Calgary, Alberta (PRWEB) June 12, 2014

CoolIT Systems, the global expert in Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC™) technologies for HPC, Cloud and Enterprise markets, today ranked No. 34 on the 26th annual PROFIT 500, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies. Published in the July issue of Canadian Business and online at PROFITguide.com, the PROFIT 500 ranks Canadian businesses by their revenue growth over five years. This is the second consecutive year that CoolIT has made the PROFIT 500 list.

CoolIT Systems made the 2014 PROFIT 500 list with five-year revenue growth of 1787%. CoolIT Systems ranked 6th overall in the Information Technology sector.

“The members of the PROFIT 500 are the elite of the country’s entrepreneurial community,” says James Cowan, Editor-in-Chief of Canadian Business and PROFIT. “Their stories are lessons in business strategy, innovation, management excellence and sheer tenacity.”

“CoolIT Systems is proud to have made the PROFIT 500 ranking for the second year in a row,” says Geoff Lyon, CEO and CTO of CoolIT Systems. “The strong adoption of our patented liquid cooling technology for desktop and enterprise computing markets has driven our business to a record revenue of $19.4 million in 2013. Based on actual revenue in the first half of 2014, I would expect we will rank higher on next year’s list.”

Since its inception in 2001, CoolIT has continuously strived to deliver high quality engineered solutions for the desktop and high performance computing markets. The company has a long history of awards for liquid cooling solutions; and most recently a collaboration between Intel, Super Micro and CoolIT demonstrated the power of direct contact liquid cooling by creating a supercomputer ranking at the #400 spot on the Top500 Supercomputers list and #41 on Green500 Supercomputers list.
