Georgia Southern & Willingway Co-Host Annual 21st Addiction Update Conference
Statesboro, Georgia (PRWEB) June 14, 2014 -- The 21st Annual Addiction Update Conference is a two-day program that will focus on the current treatment methods, designer drug update, adolescent treatment perspectives, cross cultural competencies in treatment and recovery for special population groups, addiction and recovery for the emerging adult/collegiate population and process addiction. This update is designed for the professionals in the addiction field, but is open to nurses, social workers, educators, law enforcement and students.
Faculty for the 21st Annual Addiction Update Conference is comprised of addiction professionals currently working in the field of addiction treatment. The faculty is well versed in the latest trends in treatment as well as upcoming changes related to the implementation of the new DSM V.
Willingway will host a special reception immediately following the conclusion of the conference on June 27th. Reception attendees will receive additional resources including a complementary copy of Dr. Al Mooney's newest edition of the 'Recovery Book.'
