BundleTree Baby is the first baby blanket and accessories brand of its kind, completely handmade by rural Mothers in Uganda, Africa. Launched on the 12th of June, the Signature collection features 100% organic cotton blankets delicately embroidered with an elephant appliqué, and matching baby slings in the same bold colors and vibrant chevron patterns. The Safari collection is just as daring, featuring rich turquoise prints that are perfectly hand dyed.

“BundleTree Baby stands for life, mothers, infants, families and the ability to thrive against all social economic odds,” says founder Nicole Lindler. When Nicole first learned about the startlingly high rate of infant mortality occurring in Uganda, she had a bold idea to fight it head on. By creating BundleTree Baby, Nicole is able to create above fair wage partnerships with groups of nearly 40 rural, at-risk Ugandan Mothers to hand make her collections. Each time a product is sold, a portion of contributing profits is placed directly into a healthcare and education fund which the Mothers can drawn from to maintain the wellness of their babies. Nicole’s recipe is simple, “By starting with Mothers first, we give children their best chance to thrive.”

Each blanket and sling in the BundleTree Baby line is designed to be a statement piece, reflective of the woman who wants her baby’s accessories to compliment her own personal style. The color palette is a rich mix of fuchsia, marigold, lime and copen blue. Every blanket is lined with a soft organic cotton fleece providing a cozy touch. The slings are completely reversible from print to solid, allowing a woman to easily match any outfit with her baby in tow. Prices of the line range from $54-$62.

The best part about her line, Nicole says, “Every piece is made with love”. All BundleTree Baby items come attached with tags in the shape of Africa and personally signed by the Mothers who made the piece. With this, customers know exactly whom their purchase is supporting—a simple keepsake for a big mission.
