Fine Art at Chapel View Features Wolfgang Widmoser’s Fantastic Realism and Francis Mesaros Pancture® Paintings
Cranston, RI (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- Fine Art at Chapel View is excited to announce the opening event on June 21st, 2014 which will feature Wolfgang Widmoser and Francis Mesaros in Gallery 4, and twenty local, national, and international artists in Gallery 5. With such a diverse display, it is sure to create vivid memories. Those who wish to take this experience home can add artwork to their personal collection, tax-free.
Fine Art at Chapel View’s Gallery 4 juxtaposes the work of two high-profile artists in the prime of their careers:
• Wolfgang Widmoser, who studied under Ernst Fuchs and Salvador Dali, is an internationally acclaimed surrealist painter known for his portrayal of human faces as landscapes.
• Francis Mesaros invented the patent-pending Pancture Painting® technique, in which he sculpts magnificent portraits of the sea with oil paints, using his specially-designed palette knives.
Showing concurrently in Gallery 5 is “The Mixer”, a curated exhibit of fine art, photography, and sculpture. This space features 20 local, national, and international artists, including: Carolina Arentsen, Antoinette Campbell-Hunter, Vincent Castaldi, Daniel Dahlstrom, Nick Farrell, Ricky Gagnon, Peg Gale, Ian Gaudreau, Jen Gillooly Cahoon, Mark Goodkin, Barry Gropper, Lori Jeremiah, Christine Kolasa, Lucas James Xavier Kolasa, Nixon Leger, Kelly Li, Martin Metzger, Gregory Ricci, Richard Theroux, and Kendra Whitcomb.
Be sure to explore both gallery spaces while enjoying wine, appetizers, and music. All work will be on display from June 21st through July 13th, 2014.
Fine Art at Chapel View is committed to making the world a better place through art. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Edesia. Edesia’s mission is to treat and prevent malnutrition for the world’s most vulnerable children; their vision is a world in which all people have access to the basic human right of food and nutrition.
Fine Art at Chapel View is Rhode Island’s newest high-end gallery, located in Cranston. It was founded in 2014 through the collaborative efforts of Lucas James Xavier Kolasa, Mark Goodkin, and Alyssa Ann Heller. All art sold at Fine Art at Chapel View is exempt from sales tax, as per Rhode Island State Law.
With easy highway access, Fine Art at Chapel View is less than ten minutes from downtown Providence and PVD Airport. Fine restaurants, shopping, and free parking are just a few of the amenities available in the upscale Chapel View Plaza. The gallery is located at 4 Chapel View Blvd, to the right of Shaw’s.
