Fireblade Introduces Its Mobile Monitoring Application Along a “Test-My-Site” Feature
Hoboken, NJ (PRWEB) June 16, 2014 -- Fireblade announced today the launch of its mobile monitoring application along with its web-based “test-my-site” feature. Both applications are available at no cost and they are designed to help website owners to get a clear picture of the current security, availability and speed of their websites.
The mobile monitoring application is currently available for Android, and in July, also for iOS based smartphones; and can be co-branded with partnering hosting companies’ logo. The application enables end-users to get real-time data on their website status including web sites’ page loading time and any outages, all from their mobile device. It also allows them to get a quick security assessment and know of any potential vulnerabilities their sites may have.
From now on, hosted customers will not need to purchase any third party monitoring tool, as such, functionality will be provided by their hosting providers with no extra cost. Additionally, when a website owner chooses to upgrade the website’s security solution, the application enables it with a click of a button. This feature supports hosting providers to improve their customers’ satisfaction and retention rates and creates the opportunity to resell premium security services and increase their revenues.

The “test-my-site” feature offers a similar functionality for web-based users. It can be accessed from Firelade’s website by simply filling in the URL of the website under test, and with a click, one can learn if the website is under any security risks. The system analysis is very comprehensive and checks for threats such as DDoS (distributed denial-of-services), web application threats such as SQL injection, cross site scripting, or spam and abuse threats, Content Management Platforms (CMS) vulnerabilities, screen scraping, password brute-force, the well-known hackers “Dark Network” access or “Anonymous” network access.
“The most difficult challenge for a website owner is to see what is going on behind the scenes. Usually, he or she will only know that a site was under attack when it’s too late, and the site may be already completely down, resulting in loss of revenues and damaged reputation. Now, with these applications one can get a clear real-time picture of their site’s health and be able to react proactively to prevent any possible damage. All these features are available in one unified solution and for free. With the co-branding option, we think that these are great tools for hosting providers wishing to integrate security and monitoring into their stack of solutions,” says Shay Rapaport, Fireblade’s CEO.
