Resorts of Ontario (http://www.resortsofontario.com), an association representing over 100 of Ontario’s finest resort hotels, country inns, lodges and housekeeping cottage resorts, has just launched their comprehensive new 2014 Summer Marketing Campaign for participating Resorts of Ontario accommodation properties. The marketing campaign will provide tremendous exposure for participating resorts through extensive print and digital advertising, and targeted mailings. The campaign’s goal is to increase summer business at participating Ontario resorts and to promote Ontario as a desirable vacation destination and a great place to Go-Resorting. One of the highlights of the campaign is a contest that invites the public to enter to win a $1,000 getaway at one of several Ontario resorts.
The Resorts of Ontario 2014 Summer Marketing Campaign is divided into two parts; Summer Flight 1, which runs from May 24 to June 21, 2014 and Summer Flight 2, running from June 28 to July 26. Resorts of Ontario accommodation properties have the choice of participating in either campaign segment, and are offered a 5% discount if they participate in both segments of the Summer Marketing Campaign. There are 3 package/pricing tier options. The Summer Campaign is anticipated to reach over 5 million in impressions and readership. Full colour ads in the Toronto Star, Metro News Ottawa and Metro News London will reach over 3,150,000 readers. The digital marketing component of the campaign, which includes a digital ad network on websites with targeted reach and linked Toronto Star Wonderlist and Save.ca E-blasts, is expected to reach over 2,275,000. Ontario accommodation properties that take part in the summer campaign will be featured on the Resorts of Ontario website landing page with a link to their website. Tier 1 participants will receive a large ad on the landing page plus text to promote their resort’s summer packages.
