Robin Raznick grew up on the beaches of Los Angeles. She currently resides in San Diego, and is a member of "I Am Eco Warrior", and "Coral Alliance”. Robin is fascinated by the sea, and is compelled by this subject matter in her work. "Coral reefs oxygenate our air, and are teaming with biodiversity. Our oceans are our most valuable, and treasured resource. The underwater world is magical, and filled with possibilities. For a painter, the ocean is a perfect arena to explore color, texture, movement and light. I was delighted to be able to share my point of view, and participate in the show as selected “Feature Artist”. I am truly honored to have been the recipient of First Place in Painting. It’s my hope that this win might draw a bit of attention and sensitivity to conservation issues surrounding our waters." In addition to her studio work, Robin currently teaches sculpture at Oceanside High School in California. She mentors her students in Fine Arts, and Environmental Awareness.
Recently, Robin Raznick has been invited to show her work at The Malibu, and La Jolla Arts Festivals. The Malibu show is known worldwide for incredible high-end art, music, workshops and delicious cuisines. The two-day weekend affair will take place July 26-27, from 10 am to 6 pm, in front of the Malibu Civic center: 23555 Civic Center Way; Malibu, CA 90265
