Applied Research Associates, Inc. Names Dr. George Ullrich to Board of Directors
Albuquerque, N.M. (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) Board of Directors has elected Dr. George W. Ullrich a member of the Board effective May 22, 2014.
Dr. Ullrich currently serves as ARA Senior Vice President, Strategy Development.

Dr. Ullrich joined ARA in September 2013 after a distinguished career in both government and industry. Prior to joining ARA, Dr. Ullrich served as Chief Technology Officer at Schafer Corporation and as Senior Vice President for Advanced Technology Programs at SAIC. He retired from the federal government in 2003 with 30 years of service. A member of the Senior Executive Service since 1984, he held several senior-level executive positions within the Department of Defense. Dr. Ullrich holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Drexel University. Dr. Ullrich was elected to fill the vacancy created upon the retirement of Dr. Lawrence A. Twisdale from the Board. Dr. Twisdale will continue in his roles as lead of ARA’s Intrarisk Group and Technical Quality Director. He had been serving as a Director of ARA since 1987.
