Churches Rally to Meet the Needs of Teen Moms
Loveland, CO (PRWEB) June 16, 2014 -- Lifetree Cafés and their supporting churches will be launching a national campaign to meet the needs of teen moms and their families starting the week of June 22nd.
The campaign kicks off when Lifetree Café locations from coast to coast offer a program titled “A Family Divided: Finding Peace by Letting Go,” which features the filmed story of a family that struggled with an unwanted teenage pregnancy.
Participants will be asked to bring packages of disposable diapers to Lifetree Café locations through July 19th. During the week of July 20th, teams of volunteers will deliver the diapers to local young moms or supporting agencies.
According to Lifetree representative Craig Cable, “Every year, hundreds of thousands of teens are faced with difficult decisions related to an unwanted pregnancy. The central focus of this campaign is to offer encouragement and support for these families in crisis.”
Lifetree Café is a national network of venues where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting.
Lifetree Café locations and times may be found at lifetreecafe.com.
