Macrae & Dick are gearing up for Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2014 and celebrating 10 years as Belladrum’s official transport provider.
During the past 10 years, Macrae & Dick have made over 500 trips transporting artists to and from the festival, and ensured every artist got to the stage on time; even if their schedule was so tight that they arrived minutes before they were due on stage.
The team have transported artists such as Feeder and Ocean Colour Scene, Texas and Amy Macdonald. The most unusual item transported was a snake in a hat box!
The only mechanical breakdown happened in 2004 when a clutch failed, but this was quickly remedied by drafting in another vehicle from the Macrae & Dick fleet.
James Hamilton, Group Marketing Manager, Macrae & Dick said, "We are delighted to have had such a long partnership with the team at Belladrum and are looking forward to our 10th year transporting the artists. The event is a fantastic way of showcasing the talent that we have in the Highlands and we are proud to be a part of it."
Joe Gibbs, Founder, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival said ‘Working with Macrae & Dick over the years has meant that we can focus on delivering an award winning festival with the knowledge that the acts we book will be well looked after and transported to the venue on time and in comfort.’
Macrae & Dick will be providing 6 cars for the 2014 Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on the 8th and 9th August and will use 20 drivers over the weekend making around 50 journeys throughout the weekend.
