G-CON Manufacturing, originator of portable self-contained cleanroom PODs, and Vantage Consulting, a full-service systems engineering and regulatory services company, today announce a cooperation agreement that will expand G-CON’s footprint to the Latin America market to implement strategies and solutions in the biopharmaceutical industry and beyond. The agreement between the two companies underscores G-CON’s ability to provide a flexible, scalable cleanroom system domestically and internationally that is cost-effective to a diverse range of manufacturing operations.

“We are very excited to partner with Vantage, being a highly professional, well recognized service organization which will support our international outreach and customer base,” stated Maik Jornitz, COO of G-CON Manufacturing, Inc. “We have received a multitude of requests for our unique cleanroom systems from the Puerto Rican and Latin American market, which now can be more effectively served.”

The services provided by Vantage are broad: from feasibility studies and capital cost estimates, to design, development and construction assistance in process-oriented regulated industries such as food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical diagnostics, and medical devices. Vantage’s industry connections in Puerto Rico and the Latin America market will further expand G-CON’s market for PODs and will allow for in-country manufacturing, rapid deployment and mobility, ease of scalability, multi-product flexibility, and fast time to run in these areas.

“This is the first truly portable modular system. It’s the only one of its kind, and it is American made in College Station, TX,” said Herman Bozenhardt, General Manager of Vantage Consulting Group’s North Carolina Office.

“Portability is one of the biggest differences [between PODs] and modular construction. You can bring the POD to a warehouse, install it and, if in 10 or 15 years you need to move it somewhere else, you just disconnect it and ship it,” added Roque Redondo, General Manager for Vantage Consulting Group Latin America in Puerto Rico.

Effective immediately Vantage Consulting Group Latin America, will serve as the local representative in Puerto Rico and Latin America for G-CON Manufacturing, supporting client needs for existing and forthcoming projects.

About G-CON Manufacturing:
G-CON was founded to address the fact that existing systems and methodologies for constructing biomanufacturing and personalized medicine suites were neither affordable nor flexible enough to meet the rapidly changing market's needs. G-CON's founders have significant experience in designing, building, operating, and maintaining a variety of traditional biomanufacturing facilities. They are familiar with the excessive cost to build, lack of flexibility, and high expense to maintain these traditional facilities and have leveraged this experience to create the G-CON POD™ solution. Moreover, the G-CON team understands that future facility designs must be multipurpose and repurposable, instead of fixed and specialized with ineffective capacity utilization.
