Rocky Mountaineer is honored to have received the “Best North American Rail Vacation Provider” award at the recently held 2014 WAVE Awards hosted by TravelAge West in Santa Monica, California. This is the third consecutive year that the company has received this award.
“We are humbled to receive the 'Best North American Rail Vacation Provider' award from the top travel trade publication in the West,” said Bob Nicholas, Vice President of Global Sales, Rocky Mountaineer. “Our team is committed to providing outstanding support to travel agents and will continue to invest in the travel trade in the years to come.”
The WAVE Awards is highly anticipated in the North American travel industry. Every year, TravelAge West compiles a list of more than 150 travel suppliers and invites travel agents from 14 western states and its readers to vote on the most deserving travel product providers. TravelAge West takes into consideration online research, a survey of a select group of travel agents, and on-site visits when releasing the final list for voting.
Fellow Wave Award recipients include Virgin America, Viking River Cruises, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and the destination of Hawaii.
