Terrence Conway, President & CEO of Handy International, is pleased to announce that Joseph Ascoli has recently joined the company as Director of Culinary Development. “New product development is key to Handy’s continued growth and success and we are very pleased to have someone with Joseph’s background to join our company”.
Prior to joining Handy, Joseph led the culinary development at Kettle Cuisine for 6 years. “Because of the similarities between Kettle & Handy in new product development including the use of fresh, quality ingredients and a great deal of hand crafted production, Joseph’s unique experience will quickly lead Handy in culinary development,” according to Terry Conway.
In addition to developing new products for Handy, Joseph will be working closely with many of Handy’s customers and potential customers to custom-develop special products that are important for their growth.
Joseph’s education includes a B.S. and a M.S. from the University of Rhode Island and a culinary degree from Johnson & Wales with a perfect GPA average. His honors include the Culinary R & D Team of the Year 2012 at Kettle.
