Sigmetrix has been selected as an expert reviewer by International TechneGroup, Incorporated (ITI) to support the NIST Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) Validation and Conformance Testing Project. ITI, the prime contractor, selected Sigmetrix to validate the PMI data that is being placed in the PMI Test Cases and Models.
“Sigmetrix is a recognized leader in the field of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. They have been on the leading edge of research and development of software and technology for many years,“ remarked ITI Senior Consultant and project leader, Doug Cheney, “The feedback and work from Sigmetrix consultants will be critical to the accuracy of our test cases.”
CETOL 6 Sigma tolerance analysis software provides product development teams with the insight required to confidently release designs to manufacturing. Precise calculation of variation sensitivities exposes the critical-to-quality dimensions in the assembly. Utilizing advanced mathematical solutions, this tolerance analysis solution accelerates optimization to achieve robust designs ready for manufacturing.
“CETOL 6 Sigma is the dominant solution for variation analysis in many industries,” stated Sigmetrix CTO, James Stoddard. “It is an honor to be recognized by NIST as an expert in the field and to be able to help with this project and further the propagation of the model based enterprise.“
