Network of Executive Women Names Carol Jones to New Vice President Role
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 18, 2014 -- The Network of Executive Women, Retail and Consumer Goods, has appointed Carol Jones to the new post of vice president, finance and administration. The former finance director for IRI will manage the Network’s finance and accounting efforts, serve as chief liaison with the organization’s accounting firms and oversee general operations from the Network’s Chicago headquarters.
The appointment is part of the Network’s strategic infrastructure expansion and is the organization’s fifth new hire this year.
"Carol’s expertise and leadership will allow us focus more sharply on internal priorities, including governance, compliance and operations, as we continue to grow the Network and expand our reach in the retail and consumer products industry,” said NEW President and CEO Joan Toth.
At IRI, Jones managed a $36 million revenue budget for the North America Retail Client Service, Consulting and Shopper Analytics organization and oversaw a $72 million data acquisition expense budget.
She previously held leadership roles at United Airlines, where she developed and managed a $45 million operating budget and $10 million capital budget for the company’s purchasing organization. Previously, she analyzed financial results for retail, petroleum, street retail, recreation, transportation and education sites for McDonald’s Corp.
