Drug Free Solution’s Healing Process Featured in the Award-Winning Documentary Film About Drugs in the Surfing Community
East Hampton, NY (PRWEB) June 18, 2014 -- Drug Free Solution, Inc. (OTC: DSOL), an innovative lifestyle company offering a unique and proprietary emotional wellness technology, the ‘Living Breath Process”, is pleased to announce that “Learning to Breathe: The Film,” a recently released documentary highlighting drug use in the surfing community, is now available for download on amazon.com, iTunes and Google Play.
The documentary highlights ex-pro surfer and former Maverick's winner, Anthony Ruffo's downfall
via methamphetamine use, subsequent drug dealing and trouble with the law. As shocking as it is to learn that pro surfing also has a dark underbelly, it's also an all too common story of a pro-athlete's rise and fall. What makes Ruffo's story different and what is apparent in the film is that there was genuine healing done through Drug Free Solution’s little known, innovative technology, the “Living Breath Process” and how it truly works in the long-term. The “Learning to Breathe” trailer can be seen at: http://www.drugfreesolution.com/#!learning-to-breathe-the-movie/c20xb.
Drug Free Solution, then known as Clear Mind Healthy Planet, became involved in the film in October of 2010, when the Company’s CEO Genie O'Malley was made aware of Ruffo and his troubles with meth and the law, and reached out to him with an invitation to heal through the Living Breath Process,a system of emotional wellness pioneered by O’Malley. Less than two weeks earlier, Ruffo was in talks with Rocky Romano, director of “Learning to Breathe: The Film” about filming a documentary on drug use in the surfing world based on Ruffo's notoriety and fall from grace. Within one week, Ruffo and Romano joined O'Malley at her Long Island home. Healing and filming began simultaneously. Using The Living Breath Process, Ruffo was drug free from that day - Day 1 - and remains so to this day.
After a few weeks at O'Malley's home in New York, Ruffo said, “ I felt like I hadn't felt in years: clearheaded, positive, healthy.”
Genie O’Malley, CEO of Drug Free Solution, stated, “Thousands of people across the globe like Ruffo, who are inundated and left powerless by drug addiction, are begging and pleading for their life back. Our proprietary living breath process gives their life back to them, and at a cost that is 10 percent of what they would pay for rehabilitation, and more importantly, it is a long-term solution. We couldn’t be more proud of the film industry accolades Ruffo and Romano’s documentary has received, and more pleased to be a part of the story. Building awareness and strengthening the power and usage of our healing process in cities, towns, and communities across the nation is of utmost importance to me and the Company now and moving forward.”
Ruffo’s healing happened so easily and effortlessly that he was quickly moved to help his friends and others in Santa Cruz's drug community heal as he had. O'Malley agreed and in December, along with Ruffo and staff, began a free workshop for those in Santa Cruz plagued by drug abuse. What happened next was surprising for everyone involved. The free introduction played to a packed room with people jamming the hallway and stairwell to hear what O'Malley and Ruffo were sharing. The free six-day workshop that followed had over 75 participants, many of them attending the four hour session (offered during the day and evening) each time. What started as a 10 day trip for O'Malley (affectionately known as “the breathing lady”) and staff turned into an 18 month stay helping clean up Santa Cruz's drug community, complete with turning the biggest drug house in town into a Wellness Home.
Ruffo said about the whole experience, “Genie's courage to come to Santa Cruz and hang out there with the drug community – which is heavy – and stay here for 18 months, with her three kids, helping people overcome addiction (who are today healthy people) is a testament to the incredible passion and longevity of her work and her business.”
The Living Breath Process technology Anthony used to heal is available now and can be used at home.
