Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) recently announced the launch of its newly redesigned website, sccu.com. The new website features a clean, more contemporary look, along with intuitive navigation and better organization of content, for a more user friendly experience, where site visitors are able to find the information they need faster.

The new site was designed with the user experience firmly in mind and was tested extensively to ensure a successful launch. The project took 12 months from inception to completion. This careful approach resulted in very little disruption to members and the feedback received after launch has been overwhelmingly positive, with more than 95% of visitors rating the site excellent or very good. Organic search traffic increased by as much as 10% after launching the new website on March 20th, and within a few weeks the number of new account and loan applications submitted through the site increased by 144%.
The new website was built with a new content management system to improve functionality and allow for continued enhancements. Significant improvements to the new website include prominent online banking login for quick access to accounts, expandable mega navigation menus, integrated product reviews, multimedia, auto dealer and Realtor referral forms, and a life stage resource center with financial literacy information. The home page now displays rotating banners that highlight timely information and offers, and popular loan and savings rates are conveniently fed to the homepage for easy viewing.
The site will continue its evolution. Plans are already underway to improve search engine optimization, and SCCU will soon introduce specialized content for Spanish-language and mobile device users.
