Caprihan will co-present in the session entitled “Challenging Patents: Lessons Learned from Post-Issuance Proceedings and Litigation Strategies” at 11:45 a.m. This session will address the interplay between United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) post-issuance proceedings and Federal Court patent litigation. A highlight will be placed on the options available at the USPTO for challenging patents, lessons learned from recent proceedings, and patent owner and petitioner strategies for success. In particular, a focus will be placed on the considerations and strategies for challenging patents across multiple venues. The discussion will also address concurrent litigation practice.
Caprihan focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, appeals and counseling.
