Online Training Released for FATCA 2014 Regulation Updates
Portland, Maine (PRWEB) June 16, 2014 -- The Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM) has announced the release of a virtual IRS Regulation Bootcamp covering regulatory changes associated with the FATCA 2014 updates. Just in time for the upcoming July 1 deadline, the on-demand, downloadable video was developed to help financial operations professionals stay in compliance with the IRS reporting updates on payments to foreign payees. The six-hour training course covers updates to form 1042-S, forms W-8 and W-9.
“Ever since the IRS announced the new regulations surrounding FATCA - and then kept announcing new updates and changes – we’ve been fielding calls and emails. AP professionals, department heads, controllers, even CFOs, all needed accurate info, and they needed by July 1,” said RD Whitney, executive director of IOFM. “We couldn’t get in-person training to everyone by then, but we came up with something better – a virtual training that you can access whenever you need it.”
The training is presented by Marianne Couch of Cokala Tax Information Reporting Solutions, the leading advisor on tax information reporting compliance. Recorded at a live event in Baltimore earlier this month, the training covers all the major changes to IRS reporting on payments to foreign payees, including form 1042-S, forms W-8 and W-9.
The training is available for online purchase at http://www.iofm.com/irs-regulation-bootcamp-online. Once purchased, the training is accessible instantly and can be reviewed and replayed on demand. The bootcamp is priced at $950 ($750 for members of IOFM’s TAPN, TARN or Controller’s Networks).
