Two of CSG Government Solutions’ leading Child Support program experts recently participated in the Eastern Regional Interstate Child Support Association’s 51st Annual Training Conference and Exposition held May 18 - 22 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Kelly Peiper, a Principal in CSG’s Healthcare and Human Services practice, led a session on similarities and differences between state and tribal child support agencies. She also shared insight on the complexities of child support cases in which a controlling order was issued in a state where the parties no longer reside. This interactive discussion covered redirection of payments, change of payee, statute of limitations, and many other related issues.
Joe Mamlin, also a Principal in CSG’s Healthcare and Human Services practice, moderated a panel discussion on preparing for a child support system modernization project. The panel consisted of state and federal experts who addressed the required steps in preparing for a new system. They provided insight on potential pitfalls, best practices, and practical tips for a successful system modernization. Joe also served on the planning committee for this year’s conference.
