Olivia Hoblit Appointed New General Manager At Seaside Amelia Inn

TRU Hotels and Resorts, LLC, the management group that operates the Seaside Amelia Inn in Fernandina Beach, has announced that Olivia Hoblit has been appointed the new General Manager of the newly renovated beachside hotel on Amelia Island, recently ranked in the top five on USA Today’s 10 Best U.S. Islands.

Olivia is a market leader when it comes to luxury on Amelia Island, spending the last seven years as the General Manager of the highly acclaimed Elizabeth Pointe Lodge. Under her leadership and management, she obtained numerous awards for the property, including Travel and Leisure’s 2013 World’s Best Awards where it ranked #25 on its list of Top 100 Hotels, and #2 in its list of Top Inns and Small Lodges in the Continental U.S. She also serves on the Board of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association - First Coast Chapter.

Olivia joins Seaside Amelia Inn on the heels of a complete renovation of its guest rooms and public areas. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the Inn’s day to day operations, she will also be in charge of all sales and marketing efforts. She will also assist in the planning and supervision of the hotel’s second renovation phase in the fall of 2014, which will include the expansion of meeting and banquet space and renovation of the hotel’s exterior.
