Tash Anderson, one of Australia’s most promising newcomers, will be traveling to New York City to play two special shows. The first will be at Skyline Hotel’s Meemo Bar on June 29th at 8pm, as well as a special appearance at the legendary Sugar Bar on the 2nd of July. Tash will also be recording songs for her debut album in Manhattan, and has started an Indie GoGo crowd-funding campaign to maintain the current momentum that her music has generated.
This visit to New York represents a new era in Tash Anderson’s musical career. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Tash Anderson began writing songs at the age of six and has since developed a fervent passion for the craft of songwriting and storytelling. As a music graduate of Melbourne’s prestigious Victorian College of the Arts, Tash Anderson has been described by many as “a true lyrical poet. So rare these days and so refreshing to experience one as passionate and dedicated to the craft.” Her knack for incorporating various musical styles and personal experiences into her music is undeniable as she “weaves a beautiful tapestry of lyrical poetry and melodic composition that caresses the soul.” (Robert Vaughn, CEO Russell Entertainment Group.)
Tash Anderson independently released her “Overstayed Welcome” EP on iTunes in 2013 and this was well received by her supporters. Her live shows are an experience not to be missed with her stunning voice telling stories of love, loss, heartbreak and personal triumph, whilst her fingers dance effortlessly on the piano keys.
