St. Catherine's School of Richmond, VA is the First Recipient Awarded an Imagination Playground
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 17, 2014 -- The votes have been tallied, and St. Catherine's School of Richmond, VA will be awarded an Imagination Playground and Play Associate Training (a value of $7500), after capturing the most votes – 367, out of an impressive grand total of 7,296 votes cast for countless schools and organizations across the globe. St. Catherine's School provides a rigorous education that prepares girls with diverse perspectives for a lifetime of learning, leadership and service in a global community. St. Catherine's educates 958 girls in junior kindergarten through grade 12.
After the success of a similar promotion in March to advance free play on a local level, the company decided to expand their offer by creating three additional opportunities to receive an Imagination Playground based on the highest number of votes. St. Catherine's School is the first of three new awardees. "We are beyond thrilled to win the Imagination Playground that aligns beautifully with our STEAM initiatives. This play system will allow our girls to unleash their creativity and help them expand their spatial visualization. Imagine a playground that the girls could potentially build and rebuild each day - the possibilities are astounding. I cannot wait to see the excitement on the girls' faces when they return in the fall," said Annie Kapetanis, Ed.D., Director of Lower School, St. Catherine's School.
Employees, parents, administrators and volunteers may continue to cast their online votes for their favorite school or organization during these remaining promotional periods:
