Citizens For Veterans in Government Announces Support for U.S. Army Major, Senator Lee Zeldin in the Republican Primary for the First Congressional District
(PRWEB) June 17, 2014 -- Citizens For Veterans in Government, the political action committee focused on electing veterans to political office, is pleased to announce it’s endorsement for U.S. Army Major, Senator Lee Zeldin in the Republican Primary for the First Congressional District.
Steve Raiser, President of Citizens for Veterans in Government, had this to say, “Veteran representation in Congress has declined significantly over the last 40 years. We need to change that by electing more veterans into Congress and Senator Lee Zeldin is the ideal candidate, with his experience and background, to represent his District. We are confident that he will continue to serve our country well in Congress.”
