Advanced Systems Group Expands Consulting Team in Denver
Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 19, 2014 -- Advanced Systems Group (ASG), the Denver-based IT consulting, integration, and project management firm, today announces that it has hired David Bratton as a senior solutions consultant and Bob Mauro as a senior business analyst to help support the sales and technical team in its Denver, CO headquarters.
As a senior solutions consultant at ASG, Mr. Bratton will help clients build private clouds, develop their own service catalogs, and implement IT-as-a-service strategies. Throughout his 20-year career in IT, Mr. Bratton has successfully leveraged his broad technical knowledge to lead his teams towards their operational and technology goals.
Vice president of engineering Rich Williams says, “David is a seasoned veteran of the IT industry. I’m confident that our customers will realize the tremendous value of his vast experience, insight, and wisdom. He’s an impressive addition to our talented team of consultants.”
Executive vice president John Murphy confirms, “David was previously a senior IT leader in a very large company, so he understands the crucial correlation between business needs and IT. With his experience and knowledge, he’ll be an invaluable resource for our customers looking to build out IT plans, analyze cost savings, and implement business-changing IT strategies.”
Mr. Mauro also joins the Denver office. As a senior business analyst for ASG, Mr. Mauro will work as a client advocate by developing business cases, building financial models, and creating customized tools to help customers evaluate return on investment (ROI) and other financial considerations. He brings a broad base of experience in accounting, finance, and business analysis—including the development of online analysis tools and calculators.
Consulting services director Jamie Brown says, “Bob is bringing a completely new perspective and dimension to our consultative-led services. With his financial and technology background, Bob will be a great advisor to our clients who need to create the financial justification to push their IT projects forward.”
“Lately, we’ve seen an increase in the number of clients looking to transition their IT discussions—which historically have focused exclusively on technology—into more business-oriented conversations,” says Murphy. “By providing data and business impact analyses, Bob will play a crucial role in helping these customers explain how different IT strategies might reduce costs or justify the financial investments associated with their IT initiatives.”
Mr. Bratton and Mr. Mauro are among several new employees at Advanced Systems Group. The company has also recently hired high-level solution architects, engineers, and consultants for its offices in Salt Lake City, Seattle, Boise, Phoenix, Denver, and San Diego.
As a consistent member of the CRN Tech Elite 250 and CRN Solution Provider 500, ASG also pursues active involvement in the industry, maintaining the highest level of engineering certifications with partners and the vendor community.
