Sylvia Casares, owner and executive chef of Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen, recently expanded her Weekend Breakfast at the Energy Corridor location and her Sunday Brunch Buffet at the Galleria location.
Sunday Brunch at the Galleria location is now served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and costs $19.95 per person. Customers also have the option of adding $5 for the Mimosa Special.
The Sunday Brunch buffet features a made-to-order breakfast station with Sylvia’s famous pancakes, eggs prepared any way, huevos rancheros, migas, huevos con chorizo, chilaquiles, and Sylvia’s style potatoes made with onion and bacon.
There are also stations for omelets, salad, street tacos, enchiladas, sides and desserts. Omelets are made with the customer’s choice of bacon, ham, cheese, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapenos, spinach and mushrooms. The street taco station offers beef fajitas, chicken fajitas, carnitas and breakfast tacos. The enchilada extravaganza station features five of Sylvia’s enchiladas of the week.
At the salad station, there is mixed lettuce, steamed veggies and dressing choices of ranch, Italian, vinaigrette and Caesar. Sides include agua fresco, guacamole, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, sour cream, rice, beans, chili con queso and bacon strips. For dessert, customers can choose tres leches, chocolate tres leches, flan or fresh fruit.
