UNESCO would like to thank MazikGlobal for offering valuable technical assistance and resources in creating this important platform for young people internationally.
Chicago, Il (PRWEB) June 20, 2014
Today, Sid Siddiqui, President of MazikGlobal, Inc. announced that MazikGlobal and UNESCO Bangkok have delivered a new Entrepreneurship Education platform to promote collaboration and communication. Young adult unemployment and long term employment prospects are major issues in the Asia Pacific region where young adults are three to five times more likely to be unemployed than their older counterparts. One way to address this issue is to enable young people to be more entrepreneurial. Through this platform, they will be able to grasp entrepreneurship essentials to further their careers.
Mr. Gwang-Jo Kim, Director of UNESCO Bangkok, said, “The UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net) was established as an online platform to facilitate discussion and exchanges of information, as well as to foster collaboration among EE-Net members. UNESCO would like to thank MazikGlobal for offering valuable technical assistance and resources in creating this important platform for young people internationally.”
MazikGlobal deployed its cloud-based collaboration tool MazikEd Social built on the Microsoft platform to serve as the foundation for EE-Net. Sid Siddiqui said, “EE-Net is all about bringing together UNESCO Chapters located in Japan, Thailand, India, Singapore, Malaysia and many other countries around the world. We believe this online platform will accelerate local and international discussions and learning among students and academics. Furthermore, EE-Net Members will be able to easily collaborate and disseminate best practices and innovative ideas for learning across multiple cultures and boundaries. To launch this platform, we worked very closely with UNESCO over the past few months to first understand their needs and then to deliver a platform that gave them exactly what they were looking for to collaborate and communicate. We are especially proud to be able to assist an international organization such as UNESCO as part of our Give Back to the Community campaign.”
Powered by MazikGlobal, MazikEd Social is an online tool that empowers teachers, students and the community at large to collaborate, communicate and interact efficiently. By bringing all the elements of an offline classroom environment to an online portal, MazikEd Social increases engagement, organization and assessment capabilities.
