San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- vTrainingRoom, Inc. (VTR) today announced that it has completed a transaction selling ScholarLMS, to Bitkea Technologies, a steadily growing IT services and SaaS provider in Dehradun, India. The sale was complete for an undisclosed purchase price. Coinciding with this transaction, the latest ScholarLMS software system release introduces new pricing. The latest version of this robust cloud based Learning Platform features a “pay when you earn” entrepreneur friendly pricing model, enabling businesses to get started with a full featured LMS for free.
In addition to that, ScholarLMS now features a refined user interface which offers more customization thereby allowing a wide variety of users to tweak the system according to the nature of their business. Furthermore, the users will now be able to sell their individual courses in addition to selling the entire coursework/program. This allows better monetization of the available material with a user.
Together, ScholarLMS and Bitkea expect to expand to a user-base of ten thousand users by the end of the calendar year. VTR mentioned that the new owners of ScholarLMS also plan on bringing the eLearning experience to many small businesses and non-profits. VTR also added that Bitkea Technologies believes that such organizations have previously stayed away from online learning because of either the pricing or awareness and that ScholarLMS can change that scenario by focusing on the large number of universities and educational institutes that do not offer a cloud based platform to its students at this time.
VTR further added that a major differentiating point between ScholarLMS and the competition would be the simplification of the Moodle platform as also the robust service support that Bitkea Technologies will offer to its customers. The 24-hour global customer service is going to ensure that all technical and other queries are addressed regardless of the time zone differences.
