TunnelVision Mobile can be one of the most valuable assets of your organization’s travel team - Bob Krantz, CEO, Mindseye

Mindseye, an industry leader in eDiscovery technology and workflow solutions, today announced the availability of TunnelVision Mobile, a self-contained, compact laptop solution that enables organizations to easily support cross-border eDiscovery challenges.

Organizations can now handle cross-border litigation matters and sensitive internal investigations without worrying about the logistical, technical and security issues that sometimes hamper eDiscovery efforts in other countries. TunnelVision Mobile enables legal professionals, investigators and compliance officers to adhere to an organization’s information security and IT guidelines because data can stay in the country – eliminating the need to send sensitive and non-relevant data outside the organization’s firewall.

“TunnelVision Mobile can be one of the most valuable assets of your organization’s travel team. It can be stored in an airplane’s overhead storage bin and deployed on site in as few as 15 minutes,” said Mindseye CEO Bob Krantz. “But its size and portability don’t diminish its clout; it has the same speed, comprehensive processing power and analytical data-intelligence-gathering capabilities of the larger TunnelVision appliance.”

Able to analyze data within tight deadlines – processing 10 to 20 gigabytes of data per hour – TunnelVision Mobile lets organizations start delivering reports as soon as data enters the system. Users can almost immediately determine who was speaking with whom, what they were discussing and when it was discussed by leveraging the same intelligent categorization, filtering and search capabilities of the appliance.

“Companies can greatly reduce the volume of data that not only leaves the company – or country – but is also moved into review. Organizations can also further cut costs by deploying TunnelVision Mobile as an on-demand solution that can be used on site and returned once casework is complete. It’s a portable package and a highly effective tool,” Krantz said.

Other capabilities of TunnelVison Mobile include:

  •     Dynamic clustering to enable fast, effective categorization by quickly organizing information in a logical fashion based on content. This allows users to focus on relevant information – while extraneous data can be discarded before it consumes valuable space, time and resources.
  •     Concept-based Boolean categorization to reduce the volume of irrelevant results, allowing users to quickly locate relevant and related information while avoiding “keyword-responsive” documents that aren’t pertinent to a case.
  •     Near-duplicate detection to identify closely related information, which is more significant than finding exact matches. Near-duplicate data clogs information sources, distorts search results and wastes reviewers’ valuable time – whereas the grouping of closely matched documents enables users to identify all related information earlier.
  •     A conceptual search that follows the way people think: by topics and concepts, not keywords. TunnelVision Mobile uses phrases, entire sentences and even documents to find other conceptually similar information. Queries are based on natural language, increasing search speed and accuracy.
